3. Technical and Security Data
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically generates standard server access logs (e.g. request timestamps and IP addresses) for security, uptime monitoring, and abuse prevention. Submitting the contact form also triggers a short-lived, IP-based rate-limit check, used only to prevent automated abuse and not retained beyond that purpose.
4. Purpose of Processing
We process the data you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, evaluate whether we're a good fit for your project, and follow up with relevant information. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to your enquiry.
5. Lawful Basis
We process contact-form data based on your consent, given at the point of submission, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries directed at us. Technical security data (Section 3) is processed under our legitimate interest in keeping this website secure and operational.
6. Retention
We retain enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to it and, if it leads to a project, for the duration of that business relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, consistent with our legal and accounting obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 9).
7. Processors and Recipients
Submitted data is delivered by email via our SMTP mail provider so our team can review and respond to it. This website is hosted on infrastructure managed through Plesk. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
8. International Transfers
North Tech Labs is a European organisation working with clients across the Nordic region and internationally. Your data may be processed outside the country you submit it from, wherever our team and infrastructure are based.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Complaints
If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority competent for your country of residence, in addition to contacting us directly.
11. Security
We apply reasonable technical measures — including input validation, rate limiting, and restricted access to submitted data — to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we do not store sensitive data beyond what's necessary to respond to your enquiry.
